Almale has been a family-run business since its beginnings in 1985. Founded and managed by Dick and Lil Shanks for 28 years, Dick retired at the age of 90 and passed the baton to Art and Kaleen Coffey in 2013. Almale originally created one of the first digital graphic and barcode image libraries for the Hardware Manufacturing and Distribution Industry. Since those early days, Almale has grown into supplying labels to a very diverse group of industries such as Hospitals, Laboratories, Wineries, Electronics, Cosmetics, Food Products, Schools, a large variety of Manufacturers, Distributors and every type of business that want a pre-print label in on demand. Almale takes pride in producing products that meet your specific face-stock, adhesive, size, shape and color needs.

After completing construction in November 2015, Almale's manufacturing and distribution operations moved to a new 24,000 sq. ft., state of the art building. The larger, temperature controlled, space increased productivity and enhanced quality control in order to efficiently produce and warehouse high-quality labels. The new facilities allow Almale to expand its offering of same day shipping for most items. As a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of direct thermal and thermal transfer labels, we offer a wide selection of materials and sizes at great prices.
